GETTING BACK TO THAT MAKE OR BREAK TIME COMMENT

Am aware that it's 12 weeks to go and not really done as much as I thought or hoped I would do - seems to be a recurring problem with me - obviously a lack of discipline on my side.

But with time ticking down its seems that 11hrs 30 mins is a fanciful idea and just completing it seems more realistic. Again weight is the overriding factor here - need to drop some fast.

Also need to start going long on bike - am happy that I could hold 32km per hr on bike but for longer than 3 hrs am not so sure. Need to start going long this week, especially as don't want to let guys in Race Around Ireland down.

Have a 12 week plan, believe it or not. Got it from the hornetjuice.com website. Need to do it and see where it takes me, as if I can do the sessions stated in the plan I shouldn't be too badly off.

Also need to be a bit selfish with time and get over those feelings of guilt I have when I go out long for the bike - the wife is on board, especially after Walsh knocked me for six with his time.

So focus, focus, focus is the plan.

Haven't been too good at doing it so far - so will make no promises but just try and do it!!
