Day 13 - Rest Day & 2nd Week Over

Today was an unplanned rest day. Had planned to do a long run but tiredness overcame me. Just relaxed and went to communion party instead.
Anyway, the 2nd week has seen a good increase on the first weeks training. Total training time 11hrs 45 mins as opposed to 9hrs the previous week. However the structure of the training has been poor. Missed long run again - this is obviously a workout I do not like doing but is crucial to success in the ironman distance. Need to get this workout done early in the training week and not have it hanging over me.
Also, got in fewer bikes than anticipated (especially with race aroung ireland only 17 weeks away) and only one weights session.
Total training time for week: 11hrs 45mins. 20 weeks to go.
